Judy has been practicing and studying yoga for over 15 years and a yoga instructor for about 7 years with her formal educational training in the YogaFit Training Systems. While advancing her yoga skills she attended several Yoga Journal Conferences where she was able to practice with some of the great Yoga teachers like Seane Corn, Rodney Yee, Baron Baptiste and Beth Shaw, founder of YogaFit. Judy has attended many yoga workshops, training’s and retreats where she has been able to enhance and deepen her personal practice and teachings. For the past 10 years Judy has worked at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory as the Ergonomic Program Coordinator where she has incorporated yoga and body alignment to help promote safe and healthy work habits.

Judy approaches her personal practice and teachings with a creative attitude, while emphasizing to her students that their practice should be fun, invigorating, rejuvenating and as individual as they are. In the yoga studio, she uses music that excites and energizes as well as calms and soothes the body and the mind. Her philosophy of teaching yoga is to encourage each student to achieve their own personal best.

“My journey with yoga has been a personal discovery of my potential of mind, body and spirit. Sharing my lessons with others is a privilege and honor, to help others discover their own power is truly the blessings of yoga.”
